Keyla Silva-Byrd graduated from New York University with her Masters in Social Work. She received a BA in Psychology and a certification in Child Advocacy from Montclair State University. Keyla has worked as a psychotherapist for 12+ years, as a sexual violence advocate and prevention specialist for 4 years, worked with the adolescent population for 7+ years, and specializes in individual, couples, and family therapy. Keyla is a certified non-profit professional whose aim is to continuously enhance and improve the organization so that she can continue to meet the needs of the target population. .  She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and has a passion for empowering youth and watching them succeed. Her vision for this organization arose from a trip to Angola where she was both touched and inspired by the people but bothered by the circumstances of the country.

Genesis is a Care Manager at Circle of Care in Woodland Park, New Jersey. She is also an Assistant Lead Instructor at Platinum Minds, an educational and leadership development program based in Chester, New Jersey. Genesis received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Montclair State University and plans to enroll in a graduate counseling program this fall. In addition to furthering her academic career, Genesis is currently in the process of obtaining a certificate in HR Management. She is heavily involved in her community, as she volunteers with several organizations that serve the marginalized and disadvantaged.
